The machine is designed so as to prevent high labour and time consumption as in the case of using the traditional method done manually by hand, the output gotten from this method was very low and time-consuming. The machine is portable, it does not require much space and it is of low cost, and affordable to the farmers. The machine is fabricated with metal sheets, square pipe, shaft, bearings, pedal, pulley, flat bars, nuts and bolts, and belt. The machine is fabricated by cutting, welding and assembled by using nuts and bolts. The machine was tested and the required result to stripe groundnut without damage to the pods was gotten.
