Muhammadu Inuwa Wushishi Housing Estate Minna situated along eastern bye-pass Minna Niger State, this research work dealt with five chapter, the first chapter dealt with introduction which took care of the detailed examination aim and objectives, the scope of the study, then history of Minna while chapter two was the literature review on compulsory land acquisition and compensation, the problems, the process and so on. The next chapter three took care of research methodology for the project and chapter four where data gathered from the field was presented and analyzed data were collected including primary and secondary data questionnaire were administered out of which 17 questionnaires were returned. The oral interview was also conducted, collected data are analyzed using the tabular form and also hypothesis test was conducted and discussion of result. The last chapter, my findings in the process of carrying the research was started and then the conclusion to the research therefore open market value should be used so that compensation will be adequate and fair and the claimants. Should be given chance to assess their interest through their own estate surveyor and valuers.
