Antimicrobial activities of Acacia Nilotica leaf extracts (Dongoyaro) leaf Department:Science Technology By: ultimeight Project ID: 2894 Rating: (3.3) votes: 6 Price:₦2000 Get the Complete MaterialAbstractThis study was aimed to investigate the antimicrobial activities of extracts of leaves of Acacia nilotica against four standard bacterial strains and one species of fungi (V12 Escherichia Coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomenas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Klebsiella spp, proteus vulgains (ATCC 6380). As well as, we examined the susceptibility of clinical isolates belonging to seven bacterial general and one species of fungi to the same tested extracts. The ager well diffusion method was followed to detect the susceptibility of both standard strains and clinical isolates to different extract of the plant. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of extracts was determined, extract of Acacia nilotica SSP exhibit potent antimicrobial activity against standard strains and their clinical isolates of Escherichia Coli, proteus spp using the ager dilution methods. Ethanolic and aqueous, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Minimum inhibitory concentration of ethanolic extracts ranged from 6.25– 12.5mg/ml to all tested isolates. ...Preview Download Preview +Other Science Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»Design and construction of cell phone charger»Bacteriological qualities of food thickener deuterium microcarpum (ofor) and brachystegia eurcycoma (achi) sold in Owerri main market»Physiochemical assessment of soil samples from Nwambe Reserve Forest, Ndubia Igagu Izzi L.G.A, Ebonyi State.»Obstacle detection robot with ultrasonic sensor»Antitrypanosomal activity of ethanol extract of Tridax Procumbent leaf and whole flower on T.
