It was observed that the Egbute camp coal of Okeluse contains 11.8% moisture content, 26.6% volatile matter, 25.6% Ash content and 36% of the total fixed carbon, which could be linked to falling within the rank of bituminous coal as compared with the ASTMD 388 ranking Standard. It was also confirmed that the Egbute camp coal possesses a high calorific value because of the considerable amount of the proximate parameter result obtained. The coal would, therefore, be suitable as an industrial material for consumer products such as domestic fuel and power generators....Preview Download Preview +Other Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering project topics and materials you might be interested in»Estimating some mechanical properties of rock from in-situ rebound values»Fuel assessment of coal as an industrial mineral - a case study of Egbute camp coal, Okeluse, Ondo State»Purification of silica sand by acid leaching for glass production sand deposit along river flood plain (case study of Chalanazawan Plan Jos south, Plateau state)»Design and construction of a laboratory rock cutting machine for lapidary using locally sourced materials»Comparative analysis - VS XRF for cassiterite grade evaluation
