This was carried out to ascertain the problems and effects of motivational schemes on the productivity of workers in Lever Brother Nigeria plc, Lagos. The instrument for data collection was basically questionnaires, interview and observations. The first part of the questionnaires contains general questions about the respondent such questions like age, job status, marital status and educational qualification. The population of the study comprises the employees of the manufacturing firm and the entire management staff in the organization. The population of this work is 250, which is made up of 50 top management staff, 80 senior staff and 120 junior staff of Lever Brother Nigeria Plc Lagos. On the basis of the findings and other facts uncovered by the research work, it was concluded that motivation produces a significant impact on the performance of workers in Nigeria generally and with Lever Brother Nigeria Plc in particular.
