Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to carry out a Comparative Study On the Prevalence Of Malaria Infection Between 2015– 2017 In General Hospital Okene L.G.A., Kogi State. Malaria is one of the life threatening disease which every community needs to have knowledge on how to protect themselves from malaria and it will not occur until the community determines how malaria is been transmitted, proffer solution to malaria infection, determine how malaria would be prevented and controlled. And the area of study has a population of 329,997 people whereby thirty (30) people were used for the collection of data using structured questionnaires. However, the result shows that people of the community know about the prevention and control of malaria and the researcher recommends that individuals should put in mind that there is a need for them to utilize their knowledge for the proper prevention of malaria in the community. Government should encourage people on the importance of malaria prevention and control programme. ...
