In the course of this study, however, many problems facing small-scale industries were discussed. It was noted in this study that most of the small-scale industries are suffering from a lack of funds and managerial expertise. The purpose of this study is to highlight the impact of small-scale industries on economic development with reference to some selected firms in Aboh-Mbaise. In carrying out this research, questionnaires were used and interviews, tables percentage averages were used to present and analyze of data. The result of the analysis shows that the small-scale have contributed tremendously to the economic development of Aboh-Mbaise.
