This study was carried out using Lekki conservation center as case study, to examine the awareness of students on conservation issues. Three states were selected, Ogun, Lagos and Oyo. Several schools in this state were visited, majorly Lagos state. The instrument of data collection was structured questionnaires to elicit information from a total of 300 respondents. Data collected were analyzed with descriptive statistics, while the perception of the respondent's participation in conservation was determined with like scale ratio model, Regression and ANOVA. The result shows that most of the respondents were female (50.7%), also, the predominant tribe of the respondents in the study was Yoruba (78.7%). Educationally, the majority of my respondents were in Junior secondary school (40%). Also, Majority of the student respondents were in the age bracket 11-15years (60.7%). In terms of residential area 68% reside in Urban and the majority of my respondents were Christians (62%). ANOVA and Regression analysis showed a significance at (p0.05). Majority Strongly agreed and agreed that they are aware of wildlife conservation, and also agreed that Conservation education programmes are carried out in their institutions. In considering participation of the respondents towards conservation of wildlife, the majority had high participation index.
