It is however centered on South-Eastern part of Nigeria, 2000-2015. Nigeria has witnessed a corresponding in economic growth through entrepreneurship development. From the early 1980’s economic growth has been on the increase which seems to be a positive development for the economy. However, related literature was reviewed, which formed the basis for the formulation of the questionnaire and interview. Data and information were generated using both primary sources (questionnaire and internet) from a secondary sources (Journals, textbooks and the internet) from a sample of 133 small business people in various sectors within the South-Eastern Nigeria. The researcher made the following findings that the economy has achieved self-reliance through entrepreneurship, represented by the level of economic growth.
