It was found that though recruitment selection and placement of employees have some effects on firm performance. It was pointed out that the overriding aim of organizational policy should not just only formulate formalized personnel. Such as fringe benefits, remuneration, promotion, higher pay, training and development should also be considered. From the analysis, it was also found that most organizations prefer the placement of qualified personnel in key functional areas than promoting employees who rose through the ranks and often shy away from challenging responsibilities that may be associated with such promotion. In this project work, the method of descriptive statistics was adopted in the analysis of data. It is worthy of note that this project work encountered some major limitations and constraints in the area of finance time and research.
