As a result of this, modern Construction Management Techniques are used to improve project satisfaction. Based on this, a study to appraise the use of construction management techniques in the Nigerian construction industry was necessary. In view of this, the opinions/views of construction professionals and stakeholders were sought through the use of structured questionnaires and oral interviews while the sample size was 86. The likert five-point scale of weighting and descriptive statistics was used in addition to appraising the need of using management techniques for managing the construction project delivery process. The findings show that the cost and time of delivering a project reduces, while quality and overall performance improved. It also reveals that much advocacy is required to drum it to the ears of construction professionals and open a channel for the stakeholders to familiarize themselves with the application of some of the techniques. The construction management techniques are accepted because it assists in the timely realization of the construction projects. It shows also that work breakdown structure (WBS) is commonly used among others. The study recommends the continuous use of construction management techniques in the construction industry and equally encourages more advocacies to sensitize the concerned team.
