The objectives of this project are to examine the causes and consequences of nomadic herdsmen and farmers clashes in Nigeria and to identify alternative routes to solutions.. The methodology adopted in gathering data was descriptive method, both the primary and secondary methods. The major instrument used to gather data from primary sources is the questionnaire. From a population of 4,473,500, a sample size of 400 respondents was selected using simple random technique. Findings revealed that nomadic herdsmen and farmers clashes in Nigeria have negative effects on Nigeria's economy and it has resulted in the loss of lives and properties.
