Abstract
National Health Insurance Scheme as a viable tool in improving Nigeria's Health Care System (A case study of Lamodi Health Center Offa. The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is a social Health Insurance Program that guaranteed the provision of the needed health service to a person paying a certain contribution at regular intervals. The chapter one of this research study deals with the introduction of the research work statement of the problem, which can be seen that NHIS is yet to fully achieve its established objectives which are rendering sound healthcare services for the masses at a lower rate. Also in this chapter, we look at the purpose of the study which is carryout to appraise the performance and impact of NHIS so far. The significance and limitation of the study. The chapter two relates the relevant literature which has to do with Nigeria Health System entirely National Health Insurance Scheme and its relationship with the development and sustainability of National Health Insurance Scheme and their relationship with the development sustainability of Nigeria Health Care System were reviewed. Chapter three has to do with the research methodology. It entails the method and the procedures used in collecting, presenting and interpreting data. It is presented in a well arranged manner in order to make it easy for understanding. The chapter four deals with data presentation, analysis and interpretation. This chapter provides well detailed information about how the data gotten from the research field are presented, analysed and interpreted in a manner that makes it become easy to understand.
