Abstract
The project research was conducted to assess the effect of poultry feed (vital feed and Amo feed) on growth performance body weight and feed intake parameters of guinea fowl from 7-11 weeks of age. The birds were raised as one mob, under an intensive system of management in a portable colony cage at the College of Agriculture, Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic katsina. The Data was collected from the first day of their 8th weeks of age to 11th weeks. The birds were divided into two treatments (T1- and T2) and were fed different feeds (T1-vital feed and T2 Amo feed). The result obtained showed that birds that were fed vital consumed more feed of (399.13g) and produced a weight of (600.75g). While Amo fed (349g) and produced a weight of (464.75g). it can be concluded that birds fed with vital feed consume put more quantity of feed consumed.   ...
