The experimental design for the research was complete randomized block design (CRBD). The treatments used in this research consisted of three level of poultry manure applied at different rate 0t/ha, 15t/ha, 25t/ha. The treatments were replicated three times. Observation were made on plant height, number of leaves per plant, number of pods per plot, length of pod per plants, the weight of pods per plot (Kg), and weight of pods tonne per hectare (t/ha). Results showed that okra plants treated with manure level of 15t/ha had the highest significant effect on number of leaves per plant and length of pod per plant, while those treated with manure level at 0t/ha had the least value of both growth and yield of okra. Therefore, based on these findings, farmers at college farm could use 15t/ha of poultry manure for maximum growth and yield of okra. ...Preview Download Preview +Other Agricultural Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»The role of tree planting in the control of desertification»Effect of different rates of poultry manure on growth and yield of Okra»Survey on the strategy for ensuring food security of cereal crops»Groundnut oil marketing in Rimi local government area of Katsina state»Economics of guinea fowl marketing in maiadua lga, Katsina state
