It informed the health officers on the understanding of students regarding teenage pregnancy in the school. Among the objectives was to determine the factors contributing to teenage pregnancy among teenagers in secondary schools in Adavi LCDA, Kogi State and to evaluate the risk factors associated with unwanted pregnancy among teenagers in secondary schools in Adavi LCDA, Kogi State. Furthermore, to determine the sexual risk behaviors among teenagers in secondary schools in Adavi LCDA, Kogi State. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample students attending schools in Adavi LCDA, Kogi State. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 120 questionnaires were distributed out of which 120 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that The government should set up counseling centers in all cities and local government headquarters where teenagers can go for counseling on issues bothering them including their sexual life because the majority of the teenagers cannot open up to their parents on issues bothering their sexual life.
