It has been noticed that the impact of effective communication is very important for organizational performance. It is obvious that effective communication impacts motivation among workers in an organization to perform proficiency for the growth of the organization effective communication creates understanding among workers in an organization which enhances the complete awareness of information that influences job performance and yields productivity in the research work, we see the impact of communication in Unilever Nigeria Plc in the area of literature review in chapter two of this work. In chapter one, definition of the terms by different authors were highlighted the research design, and methodology of collecting the appropriate data were stated and the percentage method used in the analysis of data the sources of data are primary and secondary data also chi-square (X2) method was used to test the hypothesis. The administered questionnaires were analyzed as well as stated hypothesis tested and the decision was watched. Finally, the summary of findings was highlighted which include that communication channels and procedure contributed greatly to the achievement of the organizational plans and objectives, when communication flow horizontally and vertically, it makes the job of the organization to be easier. The conclusion of this research also places more emphasis on communication as an indispensable tool of management, it can not be done without proper communication channels. For the organization to achieve its goals and objectives it would make use of effective means of communication.
