Abstract
This study was carried out to examine the impact of auditing on organizational performance using Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan branch as a case study. The study was carried out to determine whether audit enhances financial controls in Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan, determine whether audit facilitates effective financial planning, regulation and monitoring in  Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan, find out whether audit contributes to the effective utilization of resources in Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan, and determine the effect of auditing on organizational performance of  Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan Oyo state.  The study adopted the survey research design and randomly enrolled participants in the study. A total of 50 responses were validated from the enrolled participants. Survey design was adopted and simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. The population size comprises of auditors of Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan across Nigeria using sent questionnaires through pdf to other auditors in Nigeria. In determining the sample size, the researcher conveniently selected 65 respondents and 50 were validated. Self-constructed, sent pdf through validated questionnaire was used for data collection using Ibadan branch to communicate with others. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables. While the hypotheses were tested using  Z-SCORE TEST statistical tool. The result of the findings reveals that audits enhance financial controls in  Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan. Furthermore, the study also revealed that audit facilitates effective financial planning, regulation and monitoring in  Adron Homes and Properties, Ibadan. Therefore, it is recommended that since audit can assist management in meeting its desired goals, there is a need for proper empowerment of internal auditors to acquire the requisite skills and techniques in order to be able to face the changing complex operations in all organizations.
