Abstract
This research examined the Impact of Online Trading (E-Commerce) on commercial properties in Lokoja Kogi State, the study objective includes: To identify the importance of E-commerce on commercial properties to examine the factors affecting online trading (E-Commerce) of commercial properties to examine the impact of online trading on commercial properties. Data utilized in this study were gathered from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data were sourced via questionnaires, interviews and reconnaissance surveys while secondary dta were sourced from E-Books, reputable journal articles, textbooks, and seminar papers. The sample size of 100 was utilized in this study and was determined by adopting simple random sampling technique. The data gathered for the study were presented in frequency distribution tables and analyzed using simple percentage method. The research revealed that online trading significantly affects commercial properties in Lokoja: The factors that affect the use of the internet for sale and management of commercial properties include global competition, economical and social reform, and exposure to fraud e-commerce is of great importance in the real estate brokerage in the following ways. It reduces cost i.e. cost efficiency, it guarantees no physical restriction to both vendor or vendee, it provides ace to the global market it enhances sales opportunities and attracts and retains customers. The study recommended that online commercial properties should be enlightened on the need to employ internet services for case ease of delivery. ...
