Abstract
The topic treated here is not going to be examined methodically but rather as it appears. Pornographic films and magazines on websites are“Activities to make people (audience) feel sexually excited by showing naked people of sexual acts most times pornography is termed or likened to be meant for adult viewing. Youths comprise the adult denominations that subscribe to pornographic films and magazines whether before purchase or at cinemas. Hence, the primary focus is on the effects of these acts on students in Federal Polytechnic Nekede jurisdiction as a yardstick for X-ray students in Nigeria. However, pornography takes a great toll of effects on the behavioural methods youths apply in their today’s activities. Formerly televisions were not in existence compared to present-day research has shown that the rate of crime, violence and obscene acts are sky-rocketing which calls for caution. Media establishments have tried applying laws and regulations against obscene and indecent programming and publications. Thus a section of the audience enjoys these discrete materials they see. The truth still remains that evil communication mars good manners. The work is arranged in five chapters. Chapter One introduced the topic, chapter two presented the contributions of different scholars on pornographic films and magazines and their effects on the youth, chapter three discussed the research design and methodology adopted by the researchers, chapter four presented and analyzed the data collected. Finally, chapter five summarized the research and made recommendations on the way pornographic films and magazines' effects on the youth can be controlled. ...
