The study is often faced with the challenge of finding out whether communication is necessary in reducing conflict and whether effective communication can actually reduce conflict within an organization. The objective is to ascertain the effect of communication on conflict management in the workplace and to evaluate how communication impacts effective conflict management in relation to the workplace, the work would help the managers both in public and private organizations in managing and handling conflict-related issues in the workplace. Data collected from the field and survey were presented and analyzed using tables and sample percentages respectively. The population of this study comprises eight hundred and ninety nine (899), the researcher, therefore, employed the sample size of 133, while adopting simple random sampling as a technique, in order to ensure that all members of the population have an equal and independent chance of being selected in the sample.
