It is necessary to balance agricultural needs with environmental and health issues when making use of any insecticides or repellents. 20g, 15g and 10g of saw-dust was measured into a plastic bowl labeled A, B and C respectively. 10g and 20g of the cestrum was weighed and added into the plastic bowl labeled A, B and C containing the sawdust respectively. 4g of talcum powder was weighed into each of the mixtures and it was properly mixed. 1g of sodium benzoate was weighed into each of the mixtures and stirred thoroughly. 18g of cold starch was prepared and the already prepared starch slime was added to each of the mixture and was properly mixed until dough was formed. The production of mosquito repellent was carried out using orange peels, paraffin oil, sodium benzoate and talcum powder were used for the production. The mosquito repellent was brown in colour, rough in texture and had a burning smell and smoke it suffocated and killed the mosquitoes.
