The study has five (5) purposes,5 Research Questions and 3 hypotheses. The study adopted was a descriptive research design. The population of the study is 100 and a sample size of 40 respondents was selected by simple random sampling technique. Frequency distribution and percentages were used in analyzing the respondents’ bio-data, while mean and standard deviation were for the main research questions. The formulated hypotheses were tested using Chi-square. The results of the analysis revealed that the impact of the reward system includes driving workforce desired behavior and reinforcing overall business strategies, ensuring improved organizational success and productivity, enhancing employees’ commitment to an organization, it facilitating employee engagement and competent people, reward system develop a positive employee relationship. Based on the above, the study recommended among others that the Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja should introduce different form of fringe benefits in momentary terms to be enjoyed by the worker from time to time Christmas, Salah and end of the year bonuses, should be introduced, instituted and properly managed to make sure that every member of the council benefits.
