The objective of this study is to find out if DSPG students are aware of online Ponzi schemes and to determine the level of exposure and involvement of DSPG students in online Ponzi schemes. Survey research method was used for the study. The instrument used for this study was questionnaires. The researcher administered 389 copies of the questionnaire to the respondents and 389 were retrieved and used as the basis of analysis for this study. The researcher used the simple percentage method in the tabulation of results. Findings show that students suffer academically because of their involvement in online Ponzi schemes they tend to lose concentration during lectures due to their involvement in online Ponzi schemes hence, there is a poor attitude to learning due to the involvement of online Ponzi schemes by DSPG students. This study therefore recommends that awareness campaigns should be intensified. Information is power and once society is enlightened on involvement with Ponzi schemes, its dangers and how to prevent it then its prevalence will be drastically reduced.
