As the agricultural sector grapples with modernization challenges, understanding how new media can enhance information dissemination is crucial. The principal aim is to assess the adoption of new media tools and their impact on farmers' productivity and income. The research is significant as it provides insights into leveraging technology to improve agricultural practices. A comprehensive literature review reveals that while new media can facilitate information exchange, barriers such as internet accessibility and digital literacy remain prevalent. The theoretical framework employs the Diffusion of Innovations Theory, which emphasizes the role of perceived benefits and social influences in the adoption of new technologies. Using a mixed-methods research design, the study surveyed 400 farmers selected through a stratified random sampling technique, representing various demographics. Data was collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings indicate that 70% of respondents reported improved access to agricultural information through new media, while 65% experienced increased productivity. However, 40% cited internet connectivity issues as a significant barrier.
