Abstract
This project details the design, fabrication, and testing of a portable power bank using a 3.7V lithium-ion battery. The objective was to create a versatile charging solution capable of powering various mobile devices and energy-saving bulbs simultaneously. The fabrication process involved assembling charging, power storage, and output regulation modules into a compact, portable unit. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. Key performance metrics include charging efficiencies ranging from 87.41% to 92.45% across different USB ports, and effectiveness between 79.50% and 85.70% compared to AC charging. The power bank successfully maintained output voltages within the 5V ± 0.25V range, ensuring safe charging for connected devices. While demonstrating satisfactory performance in charging mobile devices and powering LED lighting, areas for improvement were identified, including optimizing charging speeds and expanding capacity for higher-power applications. The project showcases the practical application of electrical engineering principles and highlights the potential for custom portable power solutions. Recommendations for future work include implementing fast-charging protocols, exploring advanced battery technologies, and enhancing user interfaces for improved functionality and user experience....
