Abstract
This study seeks to develop Senior Citizens Information Management System. The development of a Senior Citizens Information Management System aims to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens by providing efficient management of their information and facilitating access to essential services. With the increasing aging population, it becomes crucial to develop systems that cater to the specific needs of this demographic. This section outlines the importance, objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes of such a system, supported by recent empirical studies and best practices in information management. The study adopted Structured Systems Analysis and Design (SSAD) Method, while the tools used for implementation were implemented using Xampp control panel v3.2.4, PHP programming language, Sublime Text Editor and MySQL for understanding purpose and ease in the maintenance. The study concluded that the senior citizen's information management system has effectively transformed the process of managing data related to senior care. The system’s automation capabilities have drastically reduced the time required for data entry and retrieval, thereby streamlining administrative tasks and allowing staff to focus on delivering quality care. Improved data accuracy and enhanced security protocols ensure that sensitive information is well-protected and reliable, supporting better decision-making for senior citizens'' needs. s. The study recommended that there should be an increase in user training and support to which will help all users become comfortable with the system, especially those less familiar with digital platforms. Regularly scheduled refresher courses and accessible user guides can aid in minimizing errors and improving user confidence, there should be an enhanced network infrastructure in other to reduce connectivity issues that may hinder system accessibility, investing in a robust network infrastructure is recommended. This could include installing backup internet connections or optimizing server performance to ensure smooth operation even during peak usage times....
