Abstract
This study examined the effect of remote work on job performance in United Bank for Africa Plc, Keffi Branch, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. The research objectives were to examine the effect of work autonomy, work-life balance, and work flexibility on job performance in United Bank for Africa Plc, Keffi Branch, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was employed for the study. The entire population of 34 staff at the UBA Keffi Branch was used as the sample size due to its manageable size. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using regression analysis. The findings revealed that work autonomy, work-life balance, and work flexibility each have a significant positive effect on job performance. Work-life balance was identified as having the most substantial impact, followed by work autonomy and work flexibility. Based on this, the study recommended that the bank’s management enhance employee autonomy, implement initiatives that promote better work-life balance, and continue to support flexible work arrangements. These actions would improve employee motivation, satisfaction, and ultimately, organizational effectiveness. ...
