Productivity improvement on project organization in Nigeria construction industries is of vital importance to every stakeholder in building environment and construction industry. The aim of this study is to investigate the method applied by building teams to reduce low productivity. The objectives of this research are to identify factors that give rise to or that is contributing to low productivity in the construction industry, identify possible strategies that can be used to reduce low productivity in the construction industry and assess the effectiveness of this methods. Some literature where reviewed which highlights some factors that affect productivity in the construction industry. Questionnaires were administered to fifty professionals in the industry and twenty-five were returned. From their response, the data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and frequency table.
