The purpose of this study is to determine if electronic office skills possessed by office technology and management students are adequate for effective performance in organizations. The population of the study consists of students in office technology and management department in Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja. The main instrument used to collect data was the questionnaires which were personally administered. Findings revealed that keyboard operating skills, internet resources skills, data/word processing skills, electronic office communication skills, reprographic/micrographic skills are very necessary by secretaries in the information and communication technology era for effective performance.
