The purpose of the study were to find out the roles of CHWs in the well being, and the health and physical support/benefit that can be derived from the care and management of the elderly in Ungogo LGA of Kano state. The population of the study area consist of 369,657 at the Census (2006). The simple random sampling techniques was used to drawn a sample of 100 questionnaires designed for the respondent to answer the research question.
