This study was conducted on 10 selected public and private primary school teachers in Bauchi local government area. Quantitative descriptive design was used to assess the knowledge, attitude and of primary school teachers toward children with learning disabilities. Convenient sampling technique was used to collect data from teachers. Data was collected using self-administered structured knowledge questionnaire and attitude scale. The findings of the study revealed that majority of government and private school teachers showed moderate level of knowledge on learning disability. Most of the respondents could correctly identify pupils with learning disability in various classes. A higher percentage of respondents from government and private schools have favorable attitude in dealing with learning disabilities among children.
