Findings from the study revealed among others that Political influence constraints the development process of the Nasarawa State civil service commission, and that Majority of the appointments into the Nasarawa State civil service are influenced by politicians. the study, therefore, recommends that there is a need to get rid of the godfatherism syndrome nepotism and favoritism so that the appointment process should be done by the commission alone.
