The importance of family planning can help in reducing child death rate in the community. Structured questionnaire based on the respondent''s demographical data and variables on the importance of family planning on child spacing and benefit on health in the study area were used to collect information from 55 respondents simple frequency and percentage were used to analyze the data, the result from the analysis and this has an effect on the earth of the some of the family in the study area, it was observed that some of the respondents have suffered from various ill-health as a result of lack of family planning practices.
