The study is designed to find out the level of awareness of respondence to cultism reports in the light newspaper. Descriptive survey research method was employed in the data presentation using simple percentage. A total of 120 copies of questionnaires were distributed. The questionnaires were the instrument for data collection and from findings, only 100 copies were retrieved out of the 120 copies administered. From the findings, it also showed that The Light Newspaper has not enlightened the students on the danger of cultism but has written an article to create awareness on the danger of cultism in the institution and that the light newspaper has not impacted positively in the fight against cultism in the institution. It was recommended that Judging the facts those students belong to secret cults, it is necessary to recommend that parents and guardians should watch the movement of their behaviors and general positive traits, and again it is important to recommend that government at various levels (federal, state or local government) in Delta should promulgate and implement laws that restrict the activities of the members of these societies by pushing them and taking a harsh measure in treating their cases.
