Knowing the causes of typhoid fever prevalence it is very important to reduce the high prevalence on preventing one from having contact to this deadly disease. If the students are aware of this infection, it will go alone way in reducing mortality and increase life expectancy. Typhoid fever has a great effect on the body such as damaging the intestine and destroying the normal condition of body systems. The questionnaire was based on the respondents'' demographical data and variable on the causes of the high prevalence of typhoid fever. The study area was used to collect information from fifty (50) respondents simple frequency of and percentage were used to analyze the data. The result from the analyses revealed that the typhoid fever has an effect on life of the students of College of Health Science and Technology Idah, Kogi state, from the result obtained, it was revealed that typhoid fever affected the student carrier by 67.6%.
