Therefore, there is a need for employing people for fighting fire manually with the help of spraying water and some fire extinguisher chemical substance. With this development, it was observed that the lives of the firefighters were been exposed to danger. This has called for the development of a firefighting robot, which is capable of avoiding obstacles and going on its own to extinguish the fire from a house or factory. This system makes use of Atmega328p which serves as the processing unit. It also employed some sensors such as: a flame sensor, gas sensor, and ultrasonic sensor. The system function has expected with the aid of a program written in C programming language and uploaded to the micro-controller. The Mobile acts as a remote control that has the advantage of adequate range, while the receiver has a Bluetooth module fed to the micro-controller to drive DC motors via motor driver IC for necessary work. A water tank along with a water pump is mounted on the robot body and its operation is carried out from the micro-controller output through an appropriate signal from the transmitting end.
