The field of marketing communications continues to grow rapidly but is hampered by problems including funds that require solutions. The methodology of the research is cross-sectional survey method. The source of data for this research study is both the primary and secondary mode of data collection. Stratified sampling was employed in undertaking this research. Most of the respondents agreed that marketing convince them to attend events and attractions in Katsina metropolis and the backing of the state government is minimal. Marketing communication is a veritable tool for boosting sales and profit in tourism. Hence, destinations are in need of such catalysts that will propel the industry.
