The major objective of the study is to identify the inequality in work places among females. The specific objectives include identifying the nature of gender discrimination at work place among civil service workers in Enugu North Local Government Area to find out the impact of gender discrimination at work place among civil service workers in Enugu North Local Government Area to examine the effect of gender discrimination of women in productivity at work place among civil service works in Enugu North Local Government Area and to proffer solution to problem of gender inequality in Enugu North Local Government Area. The instrument use for the collection of data was questionnaire. The research employed the survey research design. The sample size of 399 was used and this was gotten from the population of the study. The findings of this research identified development, education, empowerment, and culture as some of the causes of gender inequality these results to low status reduced of women in work places. Thus, this study recommends abolishing laws against the right and progress of women in Enugu North Local Government Area.
