The data was collected using questionnaires and verbal interviews. Sixty questionnaires were used for interviewing the respondents. The result shows that 35% of the farmers interviewed are rabbit producers, they depend on farming as their main occupation. The research identified that the problems faced by the rabbits' rearers in the study area are disease outbreaks, problems of finance, poor extension services.
