This is due to the recognition of the important role of training and manpower development in attainment of organizational, the efforts of training and manpower development on employees performance using, Alvan Ikoku College Of Education, Imo State as a case study. The study applied structured questionnaires to a sample size of so drawn by simple using descriptive statistics. The finding of the study show that majority (99%) of the respondent over development enhance efficiency and organizational performance in public sector in Nigeria. Thus, manpower training should be given top priority management attention for human beings constitute the ultimate basis of a nation’s wealth as the pulls other resources together for objective realization.
