The study shows that young women's perception of politics in Nasarawa local government is positive it also shows the influence of the programme in encouraging young women's political participation and increasing the awareness level of political happenings. The study adopted the agenda settings theory to show how powerful the media message is in terms of shaping women's perceptions of various political events. This research was done with the qualitative research method survey specifically, questionnaires were distributed randomly to the respondents.
