This work aims to identify factors influencing the utilization and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS in Oyun Local Government, Kwara State. This descriptive study was carried out using the multistage technique to get two hundred respondents that participated. A structure questionnaire was used for data collection. The research shows that the majority 65% of the respondents agree that mothers reduce the risk of transmitting HIV to their child during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. This study reveal that more than half of the respondent 53.5% agree that accessibility to antenatal care services provide HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services to pregnant women. The study therefore concluded that the majority of 80% of the respondents agree that integrating PMTCT programs into existing health systems is very Important for all mothers.
