Also to assess the measures used in controlling Hepatitis B virus infection and ways of solving challenges in controlling Hepatitis B virus infection among youth in the proposed area of the study. The study will help to provide information to government and health care providers on challenges to controlling Hepatitis B virus infection, measure use in controlling Hepatitis B virus infection and ways of solving challenges in controlling Hepatitis B virus infection among youth and this information will serve as a tool to the health care providers in identifying areas of need, in order to educate them on the benefit of adherence to measures use in controlling infectious disease, especially Hepatitis B virus infection and importance of vaccination in relation to their own health. A descriptive survey research design was used for this study and structured questionnaires were used with samples of 100 respondents using frequency distribution tables and mean in chapter four. Based on the findings of the research study, it could be concluded that the respondents knew about the challenges to controlling Hepatitis B virus infection but had little knowledge on measures used to control Hepatitis and ways of solving challenges in controlling Hepatitis B virus infection.
