The purpose of the study is to determine the level of knowledge of patients with chronic kidney disease towards haemodialysis as a treatment modality, to assess the factors affecting patients with chronic kidney disease attitudes towards haemodialysis as a treatment modality, to identify the impact of haemodialysis on quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease and their overall health. A total of 104 questionnaires were distributed among patients with chronic kidney disease at the UNIDELTH using random sampling technique to collect the data needed for the study. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS and was presented using frequency table, pie chart and bar chart. The study revealed that the level of knowledge of the patients with chronic kidney disease towards haemodialysis is very good. The study further revealed that patients’ ability not to work or engage in leisure activities, remove waste products and excess fluid from the body, be placed on dietary restrictions, extending the lifespan of the patients, and physical changes such as weight gain, fluid retention, and changes in skin colour, reducing the risk of complications associated with advance chronic kidney diseases UNIDELTH as fluid overload and it improves physical well being and relief symptoms of the patients are all the impacts of haemodialysis.
