A cross-sectional survey design was employed, using self-administered questionnaires distributed to 308 IDPs, yielding a response rate of 89% (n273). The study aimed to examine the relationships between four dimensions of logistics service quality (personnel contact quality, order handling quality, timeliness quality, and information quality) and IDPs'' welfare. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. Results revealed significant and positive correlations between all quality dimensions and IDPs'' welfare. The regression model explained 47.5% of the variance in IDPs'' welfare, with all independent variables (quality dimensions) demonstrating significant positive effects. These findings support the conclusion that logistics service quality plays a critical role in enhancing the well-being of IDPs in Northeast, Nigeria. The study recommends various interventions to improve service quality, including implementing customer relationship management systems, training staff on effective communication, ensuring timely delivery, and providing accurate and up-to-date information. Further research is suggested to explore the impact of logistics service quality in other contexts and using diverse research methodologies. ...Preview Download Preview +Other Transportation Planning and Logistics project topics and materials you might be interested in»Marine transport - Its prospects and problems (a study of Bonny Jetti)»Evaluation of commuters’ satisfaction in the use of tricycle as mobility in Biu town»Impact of strategic outsourcing of transportation on selected manufacturing companies in Nigeria»An assessment of socio-economic benefits of improved rural road in a Nigerian local government area»The pre-adoption and use of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) among commercial drivers in Minna, Niger state»The impact of logistics service quality on welfare of internally displaced persons in northeast Nigeria»The analysis of rail transport services performance in Nigeria (case study of Abuja to Kaduna)»Maritime logistics service quality and performance of maritime companies in Nigeria (case study of Tincan Island Port, Apapa lagos state)
