The study employed a cross-sectional survey design, administering questionnaires to a sample of 399 tricycle commuters. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the study revealed that accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and reliability are key factors influencing commuter satisfaction in the use of tricycles for mobility in Biu town. Accessibility was found to have the most significant impact on commuter satisfaction, followed by cost-effectiveness. Reliability, while perceived as important, did not demonstrate a statistically significant impact on commuter satisfaction. The study provides valuable insights into the factors shaping commuter satisfaction with tricycle services in Biu town. The findings highlight the importance of accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and reliability in enhancing commuter satisfaction and promoting the continued use of tricycles as a mode of transportation.
