The study used time series data that output of industry and debt service ratio are variables of interest. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) technique was employed in the study. The result revealed that in the short run foreign debt has having negative and insignificant relationship with the output of industry and the debt servicing ratio has having positive and insignificant relationship with the output of industry in Nigeria in the long run.
