The study employed the use of an exploratory research design to gather responses from Sabon Gari inhabitants. The population of the study consists of the people in Sabon Gari area of Kaduna State, which amounts to 23,056 from which the random sampling technique was used in selecting the sample of 80 respondents which represented the working population. Questionnaires and interviews are research instruments used and statistical techniques such as correlation matrix (spearman) and regression analysis (ordinary least square analysis) will be used to analyze the responses collected. The results revealed a positive but statistically insignificant relationship between components of advertisement and consumer brand preference. The findings concluded that while the components of advertisement may have a positive influence on consumer brand preference, their individual effects may not be statistically significant.
