To achieve these, descriptive survey research methods were employed. The data relevant to the study were gathered through the administration of questionnaires for 50 teachers and 150 students in some selected secondary schools in Kano State. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statements and various simple statistical tools such as tables to analyze frequency and percentage. The outcome of the study found that students have positive attitudes towards learning Physical Education and the importance of Physical Education activities, playing games and having an interest in sports in the study the respondents strongly agreed that Physical education is good because it keeps the individual fit and healthy as Physical education makes important contributions to mental health. The study concluded that most of the students showed a positive attitude toward the health effects of participation in Physical Education.
